Put on the suit. We're going to do a few rounds.

Do you remember when Spider-Man went out to PS4 last year and everyone was very curious about how realistic and perfect the game mechanics were, how you felt "like you were Spidey?" Marvel's Iron Man VR would like you to keep your beer.
Iron Man VR, from developer Camouflaj, puts you behind the mask in a wild first-person adventure. You play as Tony Stark, of course, in front of Marquee's villains off-as-as-as-as-as-yet. I was able to play a demo of the game earlier this week and wow. You cannot ask for an immersive superhero experience.

The control schedule is really smart. Once the player is right, they use the Mover controllers to track the position of their hands that control the flight controls. Hold your hands in front of you with your palms facing down to float, place them on your side with your palms back to fly forward. You can also adjust your trajectory and flight speed by pointing your hands at the desired angle and shooting the rays. I noticed that during the first part of the demonstration I leaned on benches several times and submerged myself more than once, flying through an obstacle course near Stark's Malibu villa. I really dug the tangible and booming response every time I stepped on the accelerator. My only complaint was that the feeling of falling did not fit at all, I did not fall fast enough, so my flights felt more loose than propelled.

Fighting is just as intuitive: raise your hand over what you want to vaporize and press the thumb trigger to shoot the repulsor beam. Each hand is armed and, fortunately, the suit floats automatically while targeting enemies. There is also a punch installer that is great for facing enemies and hitting through shields. Simply press the X button on one of the controls and push your arm forward. The repulsors and the blows were the only two combat mechanisms that were shown during the demonstration, but if you look at the main image of this publication, there is probably also a Unibeam weapon.

These weapons were useful when Stark's personal plane was attacked by a swarm of aerial combat drones. After being sucked into a hole in the side of the jet, the second half of the demonstration consisted of trying to catch the different parts of the suit before it touched the ground. From there, it was a matter of flying back to the plane, hitting and firing multiple UAV waves that attacked from all angles, and picking up Pepper Potts from the landing gear where she had hit before the damaged plane broke completely. Not even weak.

Although this is a completely new story, the representatives of Camouflaj assured me that they will remain faithful to the Iron Man canon (since Marvel would not have it). The autonomous operations of your suit are controlled by Friday, the IA Stark was developed after Jarvis had become Vision. On Friday he acts as a guide in the game and as a verbal combat partner of Stark. The costume itself is specially designed for this game with the help of Marvel illustrator and costume designer, AdiGranov. In fact, the Camouflaj team has spent more than a year adjusting every aspect of the suit's design and it shows. When you are in the suit, you see how the individual reinforcing facets are folded while you move your arms; the attention to detail is spooky.

Iron Man VR is still in development and Camouflaj has no prizes or availability for the game that will be released somewhere in 2019 and being a PSVR exclusive.

THE RESEARCHERS DESIGNED AN AIRPLANE WING IN A CHANGING WAY.

Your new "metamaterial" could make air transport more energy efficient.

If you have a window near the wing of an airplane, you probably saw fins flying and unhooking when a plane took off and landed. In fact, in each phase of the flight (takeoff, landing, cruise and maneuver), the ideal parameters for wings vary. So far, we have been content to modify the rigid wings with articulated surfaces. But imagine if the entire wing could change shape: this is what NASA and the researchers led by MIT are working on.

In an article published in the magazine Smart Materials and Structures, the research team explains how radically redesigned the wing of the plane. Its new structure consists of a lightweight lattice frame consisting of thousands of tiny, repetitive triangles in the form of pairing covered with a thin layer of polymer. Because this "metamaterial" is composed mainly of empty spaces, it is extremely light: less than one thousandth of the density of rubber. In addition, carefully positioned supports allow the wing to automatically change shape in response to changes in downforce conditions. Both factors could make airplanes more energy efficient.

This is not a completely new concept. It was introduced a few years ago, but researchers have now found a way to manufacture the individual pieces of the candle using injection molding. They reduced the time required to produce each piece (a hollow cube with small spacers along each edge) from several minutes to only 17 seconds. The one meter long model they created was assembled by hand, but the process was designed to be repetitive. Thus, in the future, small autonomous robots can mount the wings.

The possibility of a light wing and a changing shape raises questions about the ideal shape of the plane. With this technology, we could separate from the "winged tube" design and use a more efficient configuration, possibly an integrated body and wing structure. If the idea of seeing an airplane wing changing shape while sailing at a height of 30,000 feet alerts you, do not worry yet. It is far from being ready for a commercial airline. Meanwhile, it is also possible to rethink other structures, such as wing-shaped blades of wind turbines.

TESLA MODEL S IS NOW THE THIRD FASTEST CAR IN THE WORLD WITH A NEW BATTERY OF 100 KWH

Good news for the new owners and current owners of the Tesla Model S. As the company announced on Tuesday, a new update of the 100 kwh battery pack will make the Model S the third fastest car in the world .

The car can now accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 2.5 seconds with its famous ridiculous speed mode, said the company, instead of 2.8 seconds thanks to a new 100-kilowatt battery that has long been prevalent. Time and this will also allow the car to travel further. , up to 315 miles, with a single charge. It will take 2.9 seconds for Model X to go from 0 to 60 with the new battery.
The problem of reach has been one of the biggest hurdles, which will solve one of the biggest problems of people planning to move to the Tesla.

"Distance-related anxiety has been one of the biggest barriers to adopting the electric car," said Jessica Caldwell, executive director of industry analysis at Edmunds.
Current owners of the S and X models can pay a $ 20,000 upgrade fee to upgrade the 100 kwh battery. Owners who anticipate a delivery will have a rate below $ 10,000 and will have the update before delivery.
The S P100D model will start at $ 134,500 and the X 100D model will start at $ 135,500.
Tesla said in its statement that the next Model 3 sedans, expected to sell for $ 35,000, will have a 100-kilowatt battery.

MCDONALD'S WILL USE ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE TO AUTOMATICALLY CHANGE DRIVING MENUS

This could give McFlurrys a greater investment in warm weather, for example.

In the near future, when you pass by McDonald's, you will notice that the menu changes as you order it to persuade you to buy some more items. The fast food giant is buying a young machine, Dynamic Yield, for $ 300 million, and the first stop for the company's artificial intelligence is the drive-thru window.

The system will consider factors such as weather, time, local events, traffic levels of restaurants and nearby roads, historical sales data, current popular items and even what you request. Optimize menu screens in windows controlled by the driver. For example, they can promote McFlurry or iced coffee on hot days, or suggest simpler items that are faster for employees to prepare for long lines.

McDonald's tested artificial intelligence at several restaurants last year, and executive vice president and information director, Daniel Henry, told Wired that he expects more than 1,000 sites to use it in the next three months. The system will eventually reach the 14,000 US restaurants and it will be extended to other markets. McDonald's is also considering integrating artificial intelligence with online order kiosks and its mobile application, as well as perhaps other activities such as kitchens.

The dynamic performance will continue to function as an independent company. Current clients include Ikea, Sephora and Urban Outfitters. The potential applications of its new parent company are, however, particularly intriguing. For example, Henry said the company could possibly use license plate recognition as part of the system. In this way, artificial intelligence could identify your car and customize the menu according to the history of your purchases.

DISCOVER THE 5 TIPS AND TRICKS FOR WINDOWS 10

Windows 10 is currently one of the most powerful and popular operating systems on the market. Every day, millions of people use Windows 10 and if you are one of these people, we have some tips and tricks that you probably did not know.
It is hoped that these small features that Microsoft has included in your operating system make life easier and make Windows 10 much easier to use.

1. Set the start menu

If the start menu does not meet your standard or you prefer to use the classic menu with a column style, you can use Windows to adjust the start menu to your preferences.

The start menu has a mosaic design, but in Windows you can edit these tiles as you wish.
You can change the size of these tiles and choose between small, medium and large.

If you choose to unlink the start menu, the selected tile will disappear from the start menu. If you delete all the tiles with this method, you can open the simplified classic menu with a column window.

Below is an example of this type of menu without tiles.

2. Drag and Pin windows

Personally, I use this little trick all the time. You have probably already used the drag feature to move windows by clicking at the top of the page.

While doing this, you can block your windows. This is very useful if you drag the window to the left of the screen, you paint it in the middle of the page, if you then drag another window to the right, you can use these two windows at the same time.

You can also divide the windows into two parts.
Here is an example of half the windows;
First pull-window on the left of the screen:
Then pull the second window to the right of the screen:
Then you can work on both windows at the same time, which is incredibly useful.

3. Virtual Desktops

Virtual Desktops

Windows virtual desktops are a very useful tool that you can easily access in Windows 10. You can use these virtual desktops to store individual desktops for work, home, and social networks.

You can easily access these virtual desktops through the task view button in the taskbar, which is located right next to the start button.

When you click the Task View button, you can create new desktops and switch between desktops and see what pages are displayed on the current desktop.

You can quickly switch between these virtual desktops using the shortcut WIN + CTRL + arrow to the right / left

4. Shake to clear

Another useful feature offered by Microsoft is the Shake to Clear method used to quickly erase all unwanted windows.

Let's say you have 10 unwanted windows and you do not want to minimize them one by one. Select the one you want to keep open by clicking on the top bar and then shuffling it.
The windows behind will be minimized in a useful and satisfactory way.
This is how the windows look before shaking the main window:
Here it is later, with all the rear windows minimized.

5. Show / Hide the Button on the Desktop

Again, this is a function that I often use on a daily basis and that I have to use.
You may not know this, but on the right side of the taskbar there is a small but very useful button.
With this button, open windows are quickly minimized and your desktop is displayed. If you click again, all the programs will reappear.
This is a very fast and effective tool.

Hopefully, these tips will make your Windows experience much more accessible. I know that using these tips has saved me time and effort in the past and they do it even if you apply these tips.
